The Land Registration Authority (LRA) is a proud partner of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) and the Freedom of Information (FOI) Philippines in hosting the 14th Edition of the International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC) held today at the Philippine Convention Center in Pasay City.

Atty. Teodoro “Judo” L. Bonifacio, Jr., Deputy Administrator, represented the LRA in the ICIC, took note of the call of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., that all branches of Philippine government to genuinely uphold and give effect to the people’s freedom of information in the course of day-to-day operations, with good faith and with openness.

President Marcos graced the event and stated during his speech that freedom of information is our best interest as a nation. It is a key to our pursuit of good governance, improved public services, and a more progressive and sustainable society.

The LRA, as an active partner of the PCO and FOI Philippines, will certainly pursue digitalization, transparency, accountability and citizen’s engagement in governance.
