The Land Registration Authority was awarded by SOCOTEC Certification International, formerly AJA Registrars, Inc. its new ISO standard certification last August 16, 2019. The momentous event was held last September 25, 2019 at the LRA Central Office in Diliman, Quezon City during the quarterly Management Review meeting of the agency.
“Continual improvement, that is the spirit and basic principle of ISO – Quality Management System”, Deputy Administrator Robert Nomar V. Leyretana said on his speech on the awarding ceremony.
According to Deputy Administrator Leyretana, the significance of achieving the ISO – certified status is not only because of being the basis of performance-based bonus and being required by the law, but it is the trend today, having the so called “ISO footprint” which is a trend in the manufacturing sector, ensuring that all the necessary components in producing a product or service is ISO certified.
“We should have an ISO footprint. All the services that LRA offers in obtaining a title should be ISO Certified”, Deputy Administrator Leyretana said, urging the officials and employees in gearing towards the ISO foot print label in land registration.
In 2016, AJA Registrars, Inc.
